History
Terasol Energy, LLC was born out of the
collaboration between entrepreneurs and a group of scientists with
world-renowned expertise in the biology of oilseed crops. The company
was founded in late 2007 by serial entrepreneurs Sundeep Bhan and
Sanjay Pingle. In 2009, Terasol Energy acquired Heliagro Agricultura e Pecuaria Ltda. to expand its operations in Brazil. Heliagro is the leading seed development company for energy crops in Brazil. In 2010, Argos Groep BV acquired a controlling stake in Terasol Energy. Today, Terasol Energy is a company of the Argos Groep BV.
